My work is infinite. Let's start with this assumption. It can not end because you can only evolve to become. Nothing is lost, everything is transformed. My artwork is a bestiary, is a catalog of organic, artificial and synthetic, which change as a result of man and of life itself.
Initially, I investigated the world of microbiology, bacteria, molds, we can see under a microscope and the naked eye does not perceive. Then it became, it was enlarged as a wildfire that spreads and also wrapped genetics, birth, the human body or animal that is, the hybridizations, errors, experiments, life in its essence . Nothing is lost, everything is transformed. The protagonists of my paintings and installation time is always changing, growing, changing, some extinct, others return. I catalog them, describe them, I play to the scientist. I create worlds. The beings that paint or sew or build probably will not exist ... or maybe you. In laboratories maybe. Or perhaps they are an example of what we have in the future and not necessarily be a future so scary.
So in a not too distant future, we have one of my creatures huddled on the couch instead of the cat, perhaps surpassed by fads. We transform ourselves, because we are not immune to developments that we enjoin the world, we who have the power to decide what is right and wrong, what should live and what must die.
We modify between us with surgery, with genes, make a selection at times there are mistakes and come out of the monsters, anomalies. But I do not feel like making judgments either in words or through my work concerning all these laboratory practice, medical experiments, surgical creations, I would just ask reflections. I have not interest or support issues and argument "in favor of", I want to be neutral even though it is practically impossible because everything passes through the perception and thus emerges a personal point of view.
My work wants to be a survey that suggests the user, which leads him to wonder about himself, about the world and life itself. My work does not lead to answers to questions but, does not lead to reassuring certainties, but anxious to insecurities about tomorrow and on today.
