The Banna experience revealed itself to have been extremely useful for the development of my work. The vocation of the residence as a place of learning and the presence of a visiting professor like Leigh Ledare provided the most favourable conditions for triggering stimulating discussion and exchange of a rare intensity. It is important to add that the location helps enormously too, being surrounded by the Piedmont countryside one really has time to reflect on ones own work.
