Production workshop open to self-training

Both Mario Airò and Diego Perrone have served as Fondazione Spinola Masters

Autumn 2006, Mario Airò
Summer 2007, Diego Perrone

Once again in 2012 a collaboration project is to be held between the Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa in Venice and the Fondazione Spinola Banna per l'Arte in Poirino (Turin): two institutions dedicated to the training and promotion of young artists.

In fact, from 16 until 22 April 2012, the Fondazione Spinola Banna per l'Arte – in its own venue on the country estate in the heart of the Piedmontese countryside in Poirino – will host the artists of the Bevilacqua La Masa 2012 Atelier Project: Riccardo Banfi, Federica Bruni, Enzo Comin, Fabio De Meo, Dirtmor, Valentina Merzi, Arianna Piazza, Gianandrea Poletta, Valentina Roselli, Ryts Monet, Chiara Sorgato and Davide Spillari.

For a week, the 12 assignees of the Venetian studios will be involved in a workshop created especially for them, held by the association Penso con le mie ginocchia’ made up of the artists Mario Airò, Stefano Dugnani and Diego Perrone. This period of work shall be further enhanced by the visits of a number of well-known artists, such as Raffaella Spagna and Andrea Carretto, as well as major curators, including Claudio Cravero from the PAV/Parco Arte Vivente, who will be called upon to create new opportunities for exchange and debate between the young artists present and people operating in the arts field.
